Memorial Day Ceremony – Livestream from Veterans Memorial Park
STAMFORD, Conn. — The City of Stamford will livestream its Memorial Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 24th, at 12 p.m. to allow residents to observe the holiday safely from home. This ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Park. The Ceremony will include an Honor Guard 21 Gun salute, flag detail, a wreath laying ceremony, and remarks from Mayor David Martin as well as others in attendance.
Residents are advised: Please do not attempt to attend the ceremony in-person. Social distancing for the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be in effect. Residents can view the livestream by visiting http://www.facebook.com/CityofStamford/, selecting “Videos” from the left-hand side, and clicking “Memorial Day Ceremony” from “All Videos.” This video will not be available until 12 p.m. on May 24th. A Facebook account is not required to view the livestream. Residents can also view the livestream from their mobile phone using the Facebook app.
