Biography

Born on March 23, 1946 Donald was born in Stamford, Connecticut to MaeBell (Jamison) and William Hunter, Sr. Donald was one of eleven children and grew up with his siblings on Spruce Street on Stamford’s West Side. Donald attended Stamford High School and enlisted into the United States Army at the age of 19 serving four years. 

Donald worked at the Stamford Marriott for many years until his retirement. He and his wife, Shirley, still live in Stamford and have eight children, eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
